How we work · Rechsteiner Informatik

How a project unfolds with us.

No black-box process. You know what to expect before every step — and you know the cost framework before any development begins. That gives you planning certainty from the very first minute.

  1. Initial consultation & situation review

We listen, assess the starting situation together, and tell you honestly whether we are the right partner — and if so, which approach makes sense. The conversation is free and without obligation, on site in Eastern Switzerland or by video call.

Free of charge · no commitment · on site or by video

  2. Quote & approach model

Based on the situation review, we prepare a quote with clearly named stages, deliverables, and a transparent cost framework. This makes it easy to follow what is created and when — and you can adjust the scope before placing the order.

Transparent cost framework · adjustable before start

  3. Implementation in stages

We develop in short cycles and regularly show you working interim builds. That way you see early where things are heading and can steer along the way — instead of facing a finished result at the end that does not fit. A direct line, personal and reliable.

Working interim builds · short feedback cycles

  4. Handover & onboarding

At the end comes a careful handover: training at your own pace, clear documentation and — where relevant — access credentials, hosting, and maintenance instructions. You manage content and data yourself from then on. You stay independent — your presence belongs to you, not to us.

    Self-manageable · training included · clean documentation

  5. Support over the years

Once a project wraps up, it does not disappear into an anonymous support pool. Further development, adjustments, and questions are handled personally and with knowledge of your project — with no need to re-explain, no loss of context. That saves you time and repeated explanations with every follow-up request.

    Personal support · continuity

Before any development begins, you receive a written cost framework with named stages and clearly assigned line items. You know what you are paying for — and keep the budget under control at all times.

A

Framework before the order

The quote breaks down which stages cost how much and why. You can still adjust the scope and sequence before you sign.

B

Changes communicated clearly

If the scope changes during implementation, we discuss it before we carry on — not only on the final invoice.

C

Stages as a steering tool

Every stage has a definable result. If you want to pause or change course after stage 2, that is possible — without locking up the entire budget.

D

No flat rate for every project

Every project is different. We do not quote a lump sum for something we have not yet assessed — an honest initial consultation always comes before any payment.

P1 / P2 Personally supported, with knowledge of your project From the first conversation to the last support case, you are supported personally and directly. No handover to changing responsibilities, no loss of context after completion.
Region Reachable, not just nominally A call or an email is answered promptly and personally. And an in-person meeting in Eastern Switzerland is a short drive, not a logistical exercise.
Data Server location Switzerland Hosting and data storage in Switzerland, set up in line with the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG). That is not a marketing promise but a verifiable fact — one we document for you on request.
Pace Realistic scheduling We name dates we can realistically keep. If something shifts, you hear about it early — not a week before the planned go-live. That keeps your own planning reliable.

§ 04 / 04 — It starts here

Stage 01 is free.

The initial consultation costs you nothing but half an hour. You leave with a clear, honest assessment — whether and how we are a fit, and what a project realistically costs and how long it takes.
